About The Speaker

Michael Goldstein is President and CEO of LAN Infotech LLC, a cybersecurity and professional information technology consulting firm that serves the greater South Florida area, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. LAN Infotech is an award-winning Microsoft Partner with cloud customers across the United States and a powerful presence in the Caribbean legal market. They specialize in the legal, healthcare, property management, and not-for-profit organizations sectors.

Michael began his career in 1983 right out of college as a mainframe programmer at New York Life Insurance, where he quickly recognized the efficiency of PCs over mainframes. He used this realization at CBS Financial to transition its financial reporting processes from mainframes to PCs, significantly speeding up operations. A pivotal career moment came while working for a large law firm. Michael transitioned the company from using 8 PCs to 650 PCs within two years. In 1990, Michael became the principal of a small value-added reseller company on Long Island, growing from 4 to 65 employees across five cities. In 2009, he moved to South Florida and founded Lan Infotech, expanding it from a small team to 25 employees.

Michael’s leadership philosophy focuses on fairness, quality service, and community involvement. He believes in treating people fairly and providing good value, guided by the golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Michael believes that in IT, “Everything comes down to service.” His leadership approach extends to nurturing talent and fostering a learning culture, ensuring his team is well-equipped to provide excellent service and remain innovative.

Michael stresses the importance of personal involvement in community service and environmental engagement, often participating in beach cleanups and turtle hatching release events. He believes actively pitching in and helping is more important than “just writing a check.” Michael takes pride in supporting various charities and educational initiatives on animal welfare, disaster and humanitarian relief, human rights, and economic empowerment. Underscoring their industry standing and community ties, LAN Infotech is the CyberFit Partner for the Florida Panthers Hockey Club.
