  • Use a firewall and anti-virus software.
  • Always apply all critical patches and updates.
  • Avoid using unsupported software.
  • Store your server in a locked closet or room.
  • Wipe data from equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers, prior to disposing or recycling them.
